Meet our Therapists & Teachers

Adrienne Bornemann, Board Certified Music Therapist and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist

Adrienne joined our staff in November 2018! Adriennne brings over 7 years of experience in music therapy, adaptive music lessons and creative arts therapy to the KEYS Program.  Before she joined the KEYS staff, she worked with children and adults with special needs and various health challenges in the Rochester area. She has a Bachelors degree in Music Education from Roberts Wesleyan College and Masters of Science in Creative Arts Therapy from Nazareth College with a focus on music therapy. She received her board certification in Music Therapy and is a licensed Creative Arts Therapist.   

Adrienne lives in northern Oneida County with her husband Ralph and their newest addition, daughter Abigail! Welcome to the KEYS family Abby! 


Amy Boulrice ~ Music Educator, Preschool Teacher and Music Specialist


Amy has been part of the KEYS Smile Crew for over 15 years! She specializes in early childhood music and during the school year is the director of Lil Bo's Musical Preschool in Holland Patent. She also performs as the character Mrs. B Flat at special KEYS events and on our KEYS Kids Network program.

 She lives in the Holland Patent area with her husband Chad, who also volunteers as our Pit Road Reporter at our Smile Experience events! 


Donna Mucks ~ Music Specialist, Singer, Songwriter, Author, Announcer & Music Educator 

Along with being simply awesome, Donna is an award-winning teacher, singer, songwriter, author and KEYS character Miss Good Days on our KEYS Kids Network.  She is also the official trackside announcer at our Smile Experience events. 

She is a frequent facilitator and presenter for many of our workshops that we host for early childhood teachers, medical staff and parents. 

She has a Bachelors degree in Education and Masters in Remedial Math from SUNY Cortland. She has released 4 albums and is the author of the book "Good Days are for Walking". She has kindly donated hundreds of copies of her book for our Music Toolkits and Care Packages. 

Donna lives in Forestport with her husband John and dog Jazzy.


Kimberly Nethaway ~ Piano Teacher

Kimberly is a retired teacher from the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill School District. She is the Director of the Oneida Area Civic Chorale, a 105 member community based chorus who presents concerts throughout the year for the community. She is an accomplished pianist and can be found performing at many local venues.


Kimberly lives in the Rome area with husband and retire music teacher John. She teaches individual piano lessons from her home studio for all students of all ages and donates the proceeds to the KEYS cool is that!? 


Bambi Niles ~ Harp Therapist

Bambi is a former Registered Nurse and Certified Harp Therapy Practitioner since 2000, providing Harp Therapy to individuals and volunteering for KEYS and Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., New Hartford, NY. Her specialty is to provide individuals with live harp music to soothe the body, mind and spirit.  

 She recently recorded an album with Grammy award winner Joanne very cool!
