NEW! Music Toolkits Coming in July 2017!
The KEYS Program has an exciting new project coming this summer for pediatric patients and staff at children's hospitals and sites across the US!
Thanks to a grant from the America Legion Child Welfare Fund and the Tony Stewart Foundation, we are in the process of publishing a Music Toolkit that we will be giving away to children's hospital Child Life and Music Therapy staff who serve children battling cancer.
Included in each Music Toolkit will be:
- A comprehensive guide with research on the benefits of music, links to music therapy resources, music activities parents can do with their children, an award-winning children's book "Good Days are for Walking" and free access to KEYS informational videos providing parents and staff information on ways they can incorporate music in the care of the children they serve.
- In addition, there will be an "all access pass" code in each Music Toolkit connecting the pediatric patients to our new KEYS Kids Network! (See the KEYS Kids Network tab for more details!)
We have received grant funding from the American Legion Child Welfare Fund and the Tony Stewart Foundation in order to provide the Music Toolkits to 250 children's hospitals and sites in the US this year. (2 Toolkits per site)
If you would like to request a Music Toolkit for the site you serve, please contact KEYS Executive Director Colleen Bennett at firstname.lastname@example.org or give her a call at 315-363-6446.
